For :iconkoobine: 's contest.
Bare with me, I have NO clue how to submit both text and an image.

Not totally satisfied with the coloring, looks to solid in places, but it gets the point across.

Also, if you don't catch on, the floating head above his is an example of a females head. Small horn and less "Flamboyant" coloring to avoid attracting attention.

Panzeroid

Pronunciation: Pan-zer-oid

Rank: B
Height: 5'8"
Length: 6'2"
Wingspan: N/A
Weight: 653 lbs

Overview

The Panzeroid are lower/mid-tier Rank B Kreatures with a notorious amount of raw, brute strength. Most of the year, they are solitary creatures that live deep in forests, forging on rotting vegetable matter and buried grubs, using their physical power to bulldoze pathes through forests and knock down intire trees. They have very few predators in the wild, due to their size and generally awkward shape. But Panzeroid eggs are delicious enough for many quick-witted predators to attempt a steal of these rare delicacies.

Panzeroids are used by people as both tank-like combatants, and hearty work animals. They're strength makes them especially handy for farmers and woodsmen, looking to clear out land and move cargo. But they're a rare find, living deep in forests that are nearly impossible to traverse without arial aid and attempts at retreiving eggs for breeding perposes is only for the brave or stupid.
During the mating season, females give off pheramones (which also smell enough like Cannubis to confuse males, even in non-mating season) which attract males for several miles. Once a male Panzeroid starts moving for mate, not many things can stand in his way. Along the way, his horn will quickly develop a large and colorful ornament distinct to that induvidual, used as a way to attact the females attention, intimidate the other males and as a weapon against other gutsy Panzeroids.

After the ritualistic combat is complete and there is only one male remaining, the pair will mate through the night. The male will be exhusted by morning and effectively knocked out by the same pheramones that attracted him. Unconcious, the female will then lay her eggs in the only open area of his armour; the nook between his neck frill and his shell. This area gives off intense body heat, used to warm the eggs through the harsh winter. During this time, the male will become extremly agressive, literally charging at anything that moves. By spring, the eggs will hatch and scury off into the woods.

Besides this period, Panzeroids make swell and loyal pets that love to have their belly rubbed (which will cause their "tail" to wag) and be fed bannanas. They also live for an extremly long time, since Panzeroids horns grow through their life, the record holder for largest horns was also 92 years old! This long life span helps to make up for their lack of population.

Basic Powers/Weapons

Physical Strength - Since they spend their lives walking through everything, Panzeroids have exceptional physical prowess. An agressive male or female in their prime can give a low-tier Grade A Kreature a run for their money.

Carapace - Panzeroid armour covers every point of its body, except for its belly, face and the nook between its frill and back shell. It's extremly tough, evolved to withstand towering trees crashing down upon it.

Digger - Since their primary source of protein are grubs, ants, etc they can tear an impressive hole in the ground in a short amount of time.

Jaw Strength - Although they aren't meant for chewing on flesh, they're strong enough to snap bamboo stocks. Caution is highly suggested when feeding a wild Panzeroid.

Senses

Vision: 4
Hearing: 6
Taste: 7
Smell: 10
Touch: 9

Disposition: Generally speaking, Panzeroids are calm kreatures with alot of patients, especially in the case of females. However, males can be brutally aggressive during certain times of the year.

Diet: Herbivore/Insectivores

Habitat: The temperate forests of North and South Kaizaa

Strengths: It's greatest strength is its strength. Pure, brute muscle is what this Kreature is best at and makes an excellant tank. Their speed, although, aren't capable of sprints, can built up over distance for one helluva' body check.

Aswell, they're intelligent enough to learn dog-level tricks like sit, roll over, stay, etc. (be warned, they only do these tricks if they want to. VERY stubborn) and can be strategized with. They can also turn on a dime to keep an opponent in sight.

Weaknesses: Lack any kind of long range manuver and rely intirely upon charging and swinging their horns around like a club. They aren't really designed for melee brawling since their head armor is much to heavy for them to get in a bipedal position to bring their sharp claws into the scenario.

They're eye-sight is also poorly developed as they spend most of their time with their head down and looking at the ground. If a Panzeroid dosen't want to do something; it won't. No amount of friendship, bribery and temptation will make it move from the spot it's in.

I've tried multiple times over the years to create a good Stag Beetle Kreature that's neither a ripoff of Megalon, Megakabuterimon or Heracross and have consistantly failed to come up with one; stag beetles are hard to monsterise and remain original looking. Congrats for succeeding where I've consistantly failed.

i like the concept for this, it does look a lot like Megalon but thats fine, its different enough to be a different entity all together. good job, glad you made it into the five :)
